EYE-RELAX;

It is a Hot and Cold Mode and Vibrating electronic device used in the treatment of blepharitis, dry eye, meibomian gland disease (MGD), stye and chalazion. It massages the eye area with constant vibrations at 40C for 2 minutes in Hot Mode and at 19C for 1 minute in Cold Mode.

How can Eye-Relax heat therapy help you?

Dry eye disease occurs when the eyes cannot produce enough natural tears or when the tears evaporate too quickly. Balanced tears are vital to the overall health of our eyes. Every time we blink, a protective tear covers the surface of the eye like a film and spreads. Dry eyes occur when there is a shortage of tear quality or quantity of tears. Dry eye symptoms include burning, stinging, irritation, redness, discharge, and turbidity. These symptoms can range from very mild and rarely quite severe to chronic.

The tear film is the fluid that protects the cornea. This liquid is what adequately moisturizes and lubricates the eyes. The tear film consists of three layers, these are the oil (lipid) layer, the water (aqueous) layer, and the mucin layer. These three layers work together to protect, nourish and protect our eyes from infection. Dry eye occurs when the tear film evaporates or breaks down too quickly. According to the DEWS II Treatment and Treatment Report, the goal of clinical management of dry eye is to restore homeostasis to the ocular surface. Depending on the diagnostic evaluation, the patient may need more than one treatment. Therefore, a gradual approach to appropriate therapy selection is recommended, although it should be kept in mind that it may be necessary to switch between therapy stages.

Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD)

MGD is caused by a blockage of the tears of the Meibomian glands or another abnormality. MGD is the leading cause of dry eye disease.

Blepharitis

Inflammation of the eyelids and lumps of scaly skin around the eyelashes results in redness, swelling, itching and irritation. It is a common eye disease that can affect people of all ages.

Chalazion

Cysts that form on the eyelid due to a blocked sebaceous gland can sometimes appear reddish in color, but are usually not very painful. They usually form in the middle of the eyelid. A flare may occur after a sty or because of hardened oils clogging the gland. The occluded gland is usually the Meibomian gland, but may also be the Zeis gland.

Stye

A stye is a red, painful lump near the edge of your eyelid that may look like a pimple. Usually a stye forms on the outside of your eyelid, but it can sometimes occur on the inside. A sty is caused by an infection of the sebaceous glands in the eyelid, mainly caused by staphylococci.

EYE-RELAX COOL MODE;

Dark under-eye circles and puffiness around the eyes due to fatigue, allergies, stress or aging are very common. Under-eye bruises, often accompanied by under-eye bags, make the person look older than they are. Cold compresses are recommended as relief. A cold compress can help reduce swelling and constrict enlarged blood vessels. Thus, the puffy appearance under the eyes is reduced and the clarity of dark circles may decrease. The Eye-Relax Cold mode has been specially developed for the relief of these symptoms.

USE OF EYE-RELAX;

♦ The device has two different modes, Cold and Hot. It applies constant heat at 40C in Hot mode and at 19C in Cold mode.

♦ The device is turned on by pressing the on button on it for a few seconds. After it is turned on, the desired mode is selected by pressing the on button once. The selected mode light will flash.

♦ Then the selected mode light will continue to flash for about 10 seconds and the device will automatically reach the desired temperature. A beep will also sound at this stage.

♦ Pressing the start button once again will start the vibration mode.

♦ After massaging one eye for 2 minutes in Warm mode and 1 minute in Cold mode, the device will emit another beep and warn to switch to the other eye.

♦ After massaging the other eye at the same time and temperature, the device will automatically turn off.
